One of the best parts of my job while working in Student Affairs was coordinating New Student Orientation and working with my team of student Orientation Leaders to create connections with new students and their families. Over the last several years I have had the chance to work with thousands of new student during this time of transition.

A First Year Success Approach to Life

I take a totally interactive and innovative approach that allows first year students not just to set goals – but create their year!  By providing your students with the opportunity to set goals and take ownership for what they want out of the first year is an important part of giving new students the tools to succeed.

Yes, you are there to help create an seamless transition from high school to college, why not..

• give your students the tools to do it on there own after Welcome Week ends.
• know that long after the FYE course stops meeting you’ve provided your students with the resources to be successful beyond the first six weeks of college.

I’m interested in your students being as successful as they can while in college.  If that occurs – you also know you’ve done a great job by giving the gift by allowing them to step into some of the “best times of their lives.”
